Christian kingdom in the central Pyrenees that grew from a county under Ramiro I; Petronila's marriage to Ramon Berenguer IV joined it with Barcelona to form the Crown of Aragon.

• Reconquista (718–1492 CE): Centuries-long series of campaigns by Christian kingdoms to take the Iberian Peninsula from Muslim rule, ending with the fall of Granada in 1492.
• Albarracín (c. 1015 CE): Capital of Taifa of Albarracín (1015–1104).
